Role Overview
This position leads the end-to-end development of proposals and presentations for transportation sector opportunities across the Western United States. As a key contributor in high-stakes pursuits, the specialist ensures alignment between technical content, strategic messaging, and compliance requirements from initial planning through final submission and client interviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead proposal creation from initial concept through final delivery, coordinating timelines, content strategy, and production workflows
- Collaborate with business development, marketing, and technical teams during capture planning and go/no-go assessments
- Develop and refine resumes and past performance materials tailored to each opportunity
- Direct pursuit teams in compliance tracking, document formatting, and messaging consistency
- Conduct quality reviews, including pink and red team sessions, and implement feedback effectively
- Ensure all submissions follow RFP requirements and internal branding standards for layout, fonts, and structure
- Provide editorial oversight, enhancing clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy across proposal sections
- Support special initiatives related to proposal process improvement and knowledge sharing
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in one of the following locations: Phoenix, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Denver, CO; Murray, UT; Portland, OR; or Seattle, WA. The role combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration as needed to support regional business objectives.
