AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist III to support the transportation business line by leading the development of proposals and presentations from pre-RFP through interview stages. This hybrid role involves close collaboration with marketing, business operations, and technical teams to ensure compliance, strong content, and effective messaging for key West region pursuits.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrates substantial expertise as a marketing and proposal management generalist or specialist
- Leading a variety of proposals and presentations from pre-RFP positioning through to interview stage, as required
- Participate in go/no-go and green light analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines
- Engage in capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposals
- Interface with technical and BD staff to develop submittals and materials to win new contracts for the company
- Manage the information infrastructure that enables the business to do so efficiently
- Provide leadership and direction to pursuit teams for proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, messaging and production
- May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals
- Provide document design, while ensuring RFP instructions and internal brand guidelines pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed
- Facilitates pink and red team, quality reviews, and applies lessons learned to add value to proposals
- Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams
- Writes and edits tailored resumes and past performance sections for proposals
- Provides grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality
- Supports special projects, as required
What We're Looking For
- Substantial expertise as a marketing and proposal management generalist or specialist

- Experience participating in go/no-go and green light analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines
- Experience in capture planning and positioning activities related to proposal preparation
- Ability to interface with technical and business development staff to develop submittals
- Proven ability to provide leadership and direction to pursuit teams including schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, messaging, and production
- Experience with document design and adherence to RFP instructions and internal brand guidelines
- Experience facilitating pink and red team reviews and applying feedback
- Strong writing and editing skills, including for resumes and past performance sections
- Ability to provide grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality
