We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to lead the creation of comprehensive and competitive submissions for government and public sector opportunities. In this role, you will coordinate with leadership and technical experts to gather insights, shape narratives, and deliver proposals that meet strict compliance standards and organizational goals.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and respond to public sector tender opportunities in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Write, edit, and structure proposal content tailored to specific client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Manage the full proposal lifecycle—from planning and research to submission—ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository of reusable content to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Conduct research on public sector regulations, industry trends, and policy developments to strengthen proposal positioning.
- Interview subject matter experts to extract technical details and translate them into clear, persuasive language.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance the quality, compliance, and success rate of future bids.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of two years of professional writing experience in journalism, editing, or creative communication.
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate business value clearly.
- High level of precision and dedication to producing polished, error-free documents.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing bid proposals for public or private sector tenders.
- Familiarity with bid development frameworks and best practices in proposal management.
