Lead critical IT projects within the banking technology space as a Project Manager shaping secure, scalable solutions across the Nordics. You'll take ownership of end-to-end project execution, defining scope, objectives, and resource needs while guiding teams through complex system implementations and migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans and track progress using hybrid and agile frameworks, including SAFe
- Manage budgets, allocate resources, and maintain strict control over timelines and deliverables
- Lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment, promoting productivity and accountability
- Oversee requirement gathering, manage change control, and conduct risk assessments with proactive mitigation planning
- Deliver accurate forecasts and status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Maintain detailed project documentation and support continuous improvement across the project lifecycle
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates will bring proven experience managing complex IT projects, particularly within banking or fintech environments. Fluency in both Norwegian and English is essential. You should be skilled in multiple project management methodologies—including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models—and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with frameworks such as SAFe, along with exposure to technologies in cloud, data, automation, identity, AI, fraud detection, and anti-money laundering systems, will support your success. Certifications in project or agile management are valued. A mindset oriented toward continuous learning, adaptability, and taking initiative is key.
