Lead complex financial technology initiatives as a Senior Project Manager specializing in LoanIQ platforms. This role drives the full lifecycle delivery of solutions across syndicated lending, agency servicing, and credit risk management for international financial institutions. Based in Belfast, you will align Agile execution with formal PMO oversight to ensure timely, compliant, and scalable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of LoanIQ projects, covering origination, loan trading, and lifecycle events such as amendments, refinancing, and restructuring
- Orchestrate planning, execution, and reporting across interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment with business and technical timelines
- Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Use Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to manage backlogs, track progress, and maintain delivery transparency
- Integrate Agile practices with governance frameworks, including RAID logging, milestone reporting, and audit readiness
- Oversee LoanIQ configuration for facilities, tranche structures, rate indices (including SOFR and LIBOR fallbacks), amortisation, and covenant tracking
- Ensure accurate processing of interest, fees, and accruals across all loan workflows
- Coordinate integration between LoanIQ and upstream trading systems and downstream finance and risk platforms
- Lead testing phases—SIT, UAT, and regression—ensuring data integrity and operational readiness
- Design and execute cutover, parallel run, and rollback strategies for multi-region deployments
- Ensure compliance with Basel standards, SOFR transition mandates, and credit risk reporting requirements
- Engage senior stakeholders across business and technology, delivering clear status updates and risk insights
- Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for business and support teams
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must bring at least eight years of project or program delivery experience in banking or financial services, with a strong track record in regulated environments. Certification as a Scrum Master or in a comparable Agile framework is required. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps is essential.
Deep functional knowledge of LoanIQ—including configuration, lifecycle events, and integrations—is critical. You should also possess strong familiarity with syndicated loan structures, agency servicing, secondary trading, credit risk, collateral management, and regulatory reporting frameworks such as Basel III. Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience is highly valued.
Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and resolve issues through structured analysis. You must thrive in fast-moving, regulated environments where priorities evolve and precision is paramount.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL, XML, and data mapping for LoanIQ interface design
