Downer Group is looking for a Project Manager for a short-term opportunity to deliver critical Land projects. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver complex Land-based projects within the defence and national security sector
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate with stakeholders and teams to maintain project alignment and momentum
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Ensure all project deliverables meet required standards and compliance frameworks
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex, high-stakes projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, outcomes-focused environment
- Eligibility to work on Australian defence and national security projects
Work Mode
This position operates on a local-city basis. You will be required to work from our offices and project sites in either Canberra or Melbourne.
