Jobgether is hiring a Project Engineering Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact application development projects in our remote-first environment. This hands-on role blends technical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of application developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Oversee the full lifecycle of application development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
Provide technical expertise in software design, architecture, and development methodologies including DevSecOps, Azure cloud services, and API management.
Implement quality assurance practices, including testing strategies and code reviews, to ensure robust software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical execution with business objectives.
Contribute to long-term technical strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and risk mitigation.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications, architectures, and processes.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in application development and hands-on technical leadership.
Strong expertise in C# .NET, JavaScript, API development (REST and SOAP), web technologies (HTML, CSS, jQuery), and Azure cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, API Management, Function Apps, Power Platform, Entra/B2C, and Managed Identity.
Proficient in Agile methodologies, project management tools (JIRA), and software development best practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust (MBI).

Nice to Have

Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in government contracting, healthcare, or insurance domains preferred.
