Jobgether is looking for a Director, Engineering to provide strategic oversight and hands-on guidance for our national-scale renewable energy projects. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and operational performance of energy assets, ensuring timely delivery and continuous innovation.

What You'll Do

Lead, mentor, and provide daily guidance to junior engineers across all project phases.
Prioritize and oversee activities for 100+ projects, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time deliverables.
Manage employee performance, recruiting, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
Oversee creation, refinement, and quality assurance of all technical deliverables, tools, systems, and processes.
Develop and distribute reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track project progress, workloads, and system performance.
Drive innovation in predictive modeling, AI, and cloud computing, collaborating with internal technology teams.
Make strategic decisions on trade partners, supply deals, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and clarity in offerings and project execution.
Monitor energy performance metrics for built and acquired systems, supporting continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously, with strong organizational and scheduling skills.
Technical authority and experience managing construction codes, AHJ relationships, contractor negotiations, and risk mitigation.
Demonstrated success in process development, change management, and implementation of management systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Collaborative, results-driven, and highly motivated with executive presence and strong problem-solving skills.
Flexible to work remotely, on-site, or hybrid as required.

Nice to Have

Professional certifications desired.
Experience ideally within the renewable energy sector.
