Jobgether is looking for a Federal Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex federal environmental remediation projects. Operating in a remote and collaborative environment, this role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope while maintaining high-quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage federal environmental remediation projects, including planning, investigations, feasibility studies, removal actions, reporting, and cost estimation.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and clear instructions to field staff and mid-level professionals.
- Establish and maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are understood and achieved.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations, health and safety protocols, and project-specific requirements.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and documentation to maintain quality and regulatory standards.
- Support risk assessment, quality control, and continuous process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Geophysics, Geology, Engineering, or a related science degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects, preferably in federal environmental remediation or munitions response.
- Familiarity with USACE, AFCEC, NAVFAC, EPA, or other federal environmental programs.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous waste management, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Nice to Have
- Professional registration (e.g., PE, PG) and/or PMP certification.
- Active OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
