Victaulic is hiring a Project Engineer – Global Regulatory Compliance to manage the certification of our products and manufacturing facilities worldwide. In this role, you will be the primary technical contact with national and local regulatory agencies, ensuring our products meet all regional requirements to support global sales.
What You'll Do
- Secure and maintain agency certifications for new products, technologies, and manufacturing facilities.
- Establish and oversee product certification projects as required.
- Maintain all required information for each certification project in the appropriate RC Database record.
- Serve as technical representative and primary contact with national agencies like UL, FM, VdS, and DVGW.
- Work closely with agency project engineers and management throughout the certification process.
- With guidance from leadership, develop and maintain financial metrics for agency expenses and assist in budget planning.
- Serve as a resource for internal teams regarding agency testing procedures, applicable standards, and product marking.
- Participate directly in certification agency audits at Victaulic and supplier locations.
- Serve as Victaulic's technical representative on standards committees.
- Perform additional related projects as assigned.
- Follow departmental policies for document management and professional communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
- Appropriate language skills based on the geographic region of responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Self-motivation and desire to excel.
