As a Field Application Engineer, you'll play a key role in deploying and managing AI-driven robotic picking solutions at client sites in Phoenix. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, operating robotic systems on-site, and working hand-in-hand with the engineering team to run tests, gather insights, and implement improvements that enhance performance and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage on-site operations at customer locations, ensuring smooth integration and performance of robotic systems
- Operate and monitor robotic units, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed
- Collaborate with engineers to execute field tests, document results, and support iterative product enhancements
- Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a field-based technical liaison, balancing independent work with team coordination in a fast-moving environment
What We're Looking For
- Background in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field—either through formal education or hands-on experience
- At least three years in a technical role such as application engineering, field support, or systems operations
- Proven ability to explain complex systems in simple terms and engage effectively with diverse teams
- Strong customer orientation and adaptability in evolving operational settings
Nice to Have
- Experience with robotic arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), or similar automation technologies
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and direct collaboration with operations personnel
