Apex Companies is looking for a Project Engineer, Civil to join our growing, multi-disciplinary team. This civil engineering role is a key position on our design teams, delivering dynamic projects that enhance communities while offering increasing responsibility and growth opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Perform civil engineering design tasks for state and local municipal public works projects and private land development projects.
- Craft solutions for diverse technical challenges using adaptability and innovation.
- Self-manage project tasks and maintain active communication with project managers.
- Contribute to a fast-paced work environment across multiple disciplines and project types.
- Participate in and represent Apex at professional organizations and functions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 2+ years of increasingly responsible engineering design experience.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification.
- Proficient skills in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.
- Authorization to work in the US.
- Valid Driver's License.
Nice to Have
- Registered Professional Engineer, or working towards licensure within one year, in a State(s) where Apex does work or ability to obtain same by reciprocity.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $62,000 - $100,000 USD.

This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States.
