Position OverviewWe are looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team at Salem Hospital, part of a nationally recognized academic medical network. This role supports a wide range of surgical and medical procedures in a high-acuity clinical setting, working closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care across diverse clinical scenarios
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including medical history review and physical evaluation
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Apply clinical guidelines with sound judgment and adapt protocols as needed

Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in nurse anesthesia and be certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. A strong foundation in the biomedical sciences related to anesthesia practice is essential. Applicants should demonstrate clinical proficiency, sound decision-making, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
Preferred qualifications include Massachusetts RN licensure, prior CRNA experience or recent graduation from an accredited program, and proficiency in languages commonly spoken by the patient population.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers an annual salary range of $223,683.20 to $264,846.40 ($129.80/hour) and includes a $40,000 sign-on bonus.
