Garney Construction is hiring a Project Engineer to act as the backbone of our project management team, keeping critical construction work on track. This onsite position in Orlando, FL requires great attention to detail and strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate complex projects.
What You'll Do
- Assist the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining documents, and serving as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Create Submittals and RFIs.
- Coordinate projects from start to finish, including assisting with estimating, project setup and closeout, supporting field operations, and maintaining detailed job costs.
- Work professionally with owners and engineers.
- Assist in scheduling projects and crews.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel and work the days and hours required to ensure project success.
