Part-time adjunct faculty are needed to deliver instruction in Civil & Environmental Engineering at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must hold an advanced degree and have substantial industry experience, along with proven teaching experience at the college level. Appointments are made on an as-needed basis with flexible start dates.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction during daytime or evening hours for undergraduate and graduate programs in Civil & Environmental Engineering
- Follow established course curricula while integrating personal expertise and real-world insights
- Offer prompt and constructive feedback on student performance
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, exams, and projects
Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Demonstrated professional experience in civil or environmental engineering
- Proven experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Prior experience delivering college-level coursework
Nice to Have
- Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience teaching in an online or virtual classroom environment
- Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system

Compensation
$7,500–$10,000 per course
Work Arrangement
Onsite in Worcester; includes day and/or evening classes; positions filled on an as-needed basis with variable start dates
