About the Role

Role Overview

As the Technical Sales Manager for food ingredients in the Nordics, you will lead business growth across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Your focus will be on developing B2B sales within the food and beverage sector by combining technical knowledge with strategic market insight. You'll play a central role in launching and scaling a new regional sales office, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess market trends and supplier portfolios to identify untapped opportunities
  • Develop and implement market strategies for designated product groups
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and customers
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and design customized offerings
  • Support product development through lab, pilot, and production-scale trials
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Managers on project execution
  • Align sales strategies with category specialists to ensure consistency and impact
  • Manage pricing, quotations, order follow-up, and payment processes
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance tracking reports

Qualifications

  • Degree in Food Technology or a related field
  • Proven ability to resolve technical challenges in food applications
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities
  • Highly organized with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English and a local Nordic language (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
  • Valid driving license required
