Role Responsibilities
- Take ownership of clinical study execution at investigative sites, ensuring adherence to protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Lead study setup activities, including pre-study assessments, site initiation visits, and site selection
- Support regulatory documentation and submission preparation
- Oversee trials of varying complexity and assist Project Managers with larger-scale studies
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members
- Engage directly with sponsors and stakeholders during site interactions
- Assist in financial processes such as site payment initiation
- Contribute to business development through proposal development and client-facing presentations
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a four-year degree or equivalent experience and have at least three years of clinical monitoring experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical setting. Proficiency in Serbian, English, and Bulgarian is required. The role involves up to 50–60% domestic travel, with potential for international travel.
Preference will be given to applicants with a graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare field, experience in study start-up activities, Phase I trial exposure, and familiarity with financial oversight in clinical operations.
