Position Overview
Join a team dedicated to seamless project execution as a Project Coordinator, operating in a fully remote capacity. You'll play a central role in managing financial project activities, ensuring adherence to procurement standards, and maintaining accurate records across internal and third-party systems. This position acts as a key connector between National Project Accountants and Procurement, supporting cross-functional collaboration and operational clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop, track, and update project plans, schedules, and reporting deliverables
- Perform accurate data entry, review project documentation, and manage form processing
- Maintain and update project trackers and external tracking databases
- Support data collection, validation, and system maintenance across multiple platforms
- Handle project invoicing and assist with financial documentation
- Serve as a liaison between accounting and procurement departments to ensure alignment
- Participate in client and internal meetings as needed, supporting administrative preparation
- Monitor project status and communicate updates to relevant team members
- Generate data-driven insights and assign follow-up actions based on project progress
- Produce and distribute regular project reports to stakeholders
- Partner with Accounting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable to identify and support process improvements
- Take on additional assignments and special projects as required
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, with graduation in 2023 or later from a qualifying program. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can manage multiple tasks independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel is required. Candidates must be self-starters, capable of quickly learning internal systems and procedures without direct supervision. Eligibility to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship—now or in the future—is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with MS Access or VBA is a plus, though not required.
