Manage and optimize supplier relationships within the commercial aircraft supply chain, ensuring reliable performance across global operations. Based remotely in Dublin, you will oversee supplier activities, monitor compliance, and lead improvement efforts to meet stringent quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to align with business and operational needs.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain supply continuity.
- Lead supplier recovery and development programs, including root-cause analysis and long-term remediation planning.
- Support supplier selection, new product introduction, and qualification processes across regions.
- Ensure accurate purchase order execution and timely delivery through effective expediting and follow-up.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, cost, delivery, and lead time using data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and procurement teams across time zones and cultures.
- Provide input into supply chain strategy and planning based on regional market and supplier intelligence.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of contractual obligations, procurement policies, and compliance standards.
- Travel frequently (50% or more) to supplier locations in the region and occasionally to global Moog sites.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is required, along with up to five years of experience in manufacturing or engineering—preferably in aerospace. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage complex supply chain challenges and work effectively under pressure.
Preferred qualifications include professional certifications in supply chain or project management, a master’s degree, technical or engineering background, and experience leading cross-functional programs.
