As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping efficient and sustainable logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include developing loading schedules and logistics plans, coordinating export shipments, and overseeing international freight movements. You'll evaluate carrier performance, negotiate service terms, and identify opportunities to improve both cost and service levels.
What You'll Do
- Develop daily and weekly logistics plans to ensure timely and efficient product movement
- Coordinate export procedures and intercompany transfers
- Manage international transportation, comparing carrier options based on cost, reliability, and capacity
- Support contract discussions with alternative logistics providers
- Contribute to expanding logistics networks into new markets
- Build and maintain databases to improve load optimization and route planning
- Use digital tools and data analysis to monitor delivery performance, costs, and on-time rates
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in international logistics, export planning, or freight operations
- Strong skills in MS Excel and data analysis
- Experience with digital planning tools and familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Current residence in Istanbul’s Asian side or Gebze region
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, allowing up to two days of remote work weekly. The position is based in the Istanbul Asian side or Gebze area, supporting a collaborative, inclusive, and sustainability-driven workplace.
