About the Role

Vodafone is looking for a Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of major strategic programmes that drive Vodafone's transformation. In this role, you will provide leadership across complex cross-functional teams, ensuring clear governance, robust risk management, and the predictable delivery of key outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major strategic programmes, ensuring outcomes, scope, and timelines are achieved.
  • Mobilise programmes, including requirements definition, resource planning, capital forecasting, and expert allocation.
  • Establish and proactively manage programme governance aligned to EPMO standards.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across design, development, testing, launch, financial tracking, and change management.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Build strong stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Produce timely, accurate, and actionable programme reporting.
  • Provide leadership and direction across cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Identify delivery challenges, capture lessons learned, and apply insights to uplift delivery maturity.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide programmes within complex, matrix business organisations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering transformation programmes across multiple functions and delivery partners.
  • Excellent programme governance, financial control, and risk management capability, with experience managing large budgets.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to lead without direct authority at C-suite level.
  • High-quality written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex information clearly and concisely.

Nice to Have

  • Project or Programme Management accreditations such as MSP Practitioner, Prince 2, PMI, or APMP.
  • Prior experience managing multiple third parties and suppliers.
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow.
