Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects, driving planning, scheduling, budget oversight, and client communication in alignment with established frameworks. You will define project scope, develop comprehensive timelines, and establish clear deliverables based on statements of work, often contributing to their creation. Maintain rigorous financial tracking, ensuring accurate budgeting, billing, and time entry in NetSuite while monitoring cost performance across all phases.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans in collaboration with internal teams prior to client kickoff, setting clear baselines for schedule and budget.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage project-specific communications across engineering, operations, sales, and client stakeholders.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and lead resolution of project issues, escalating when necessary.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure timely follow-up actions.
- Monitor for scope changes and lead formal change request processes to maintain project integrity.
- Ensure all team members accurately log time and approve engineering hours in NetSuite for precise financial tracking.
- Present technical and project status updates clearly to audiences at all levels, including executives.
- Build relationships with clients to uncover new service opportunities and support long-term engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in project management within a VAR, consulting, or contracting environment.
- Deep familiarity with PPDIOO methodology and proven success managing client-facing technical projects.
- Strong command of scheduling and budgeting tools, including Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio.
- Proficiency in managing competing priorities and delivering results under pressure.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities with teams and clients.
- Ability to understand technical project components and collaborate effectively with engineering staff.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar project and financial tracking systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools and secure access methods such as VPNs.
