As a Product Engineer for Slurry Materials, you will play a pivotal role in advancing semiconductor manufacturing processes by ensuring the development, optimization, and technical support of high-performance slurry materials. You will act as a key technical liaison between internal R&D, manufacturing teams, and external customers, driving product improvements and resolving complex technical challenges. Your work will directly impact product reliability, yield, and performance in advanced node technologies, requiring a deep understanding of materials science, chemical processes, and semiconductor fabrication. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, support new product introductions, and ensure adherence to quality and change control standards in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an international team of engineers and process experts within the Silica Business Unit
- Develop and deliver advanced slurry materials for semiconductor manufacturing worldwide
- Apply technical expertise to partner with external customers and drive internal process enhancements
- Investigate and understand customer challenges to develop effective solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to address and resolve customer concerns
- Lead technical investigations and manage change control processes
- Support business growth by enabling new product qualifications with customers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Experience as a process engineer in high-tech or specialty chemical manufacturing
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects over short and long timeframes
- Self-driven with strong independent learning and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration skills with adaptability in multidisciplinary team environments
