Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is hiring a Procurement Specialist (Strategic Purchasing). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing and procurement strategies for defined commodity groups, managing strategic procurement projects, and conducting award procedures.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement procurement and award strategies for defined commodity groups.
- Create and implement commodity group and supplier strategies, including sourcing approaches and supplier evaluation.
- Manage strategic procurement projects and realize savings potential.
- Execute and supervise award procedures (above and below threshold), including contract design and amendment management.
- Prepare decision templates, standardization processes, and assortment optimizations in cooperation with specialist departments.
- Provide technical support and coordinate with process management for the standardization and continuous optimization of contract and award processes.
- Support and advise specialist departments on procurement-related issues.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed (technical) university degree in business administration, administrative economics, or a similar field, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience.
- Experience in communicating with stakeholders and optimizing requirements.
- Confident handling of common MS Office products.
Nice to Have
- Several years of strategic purchasing experience.
- Strong knowledge in designing framework agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law (GWB, VgV, UVgO, VOB).
- User knowledge in the area of SAP/MM or a comparable ERP solution.
- Knowledge of handling electronic procurement platform systems.
- Class B driver's license and willingness to travel within the branch area.
