About the Role

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Practice Representative to act as the primary contact for our Technology Advisory service offering. You will build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their IT procurement needs, aligning with internal delivery teams, and providing expert advice to help clients optimize their processes and achieve significant cost savings.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their IT procurement needs and engaging delivery teams to provide expert advice and solutions.
  • Manage client engagement requests from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide expert consulting on IT procurement strategies and framework leverage.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT procurement sector.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Partner closely with internal teams—including analytics, finance, and account management—to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on engagement progress, outcomes, and market trends.
  • Drive awareness of, and attendance to, the client portal and related webinars.
  • Manage the profitability of accounts and projects, oversee billing processes, and complete client invoicing.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in account management, with familiarity with IT procurement practices.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with technology sales and solution selling.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to act independently and interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications.
  • Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.
  • Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing, negotiations.
  • Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction.

  • Hourly rates vary by location: California: $21.97 to $63.03, Colorado: $21.97 to $54.47, District of Columbia: $23.37 to $57.98, Illinois: $20.34 to $54.47, Minnesota: $21.97 to $54.47, Maryland: $21.97 to $54.47, New York/New Jersey: $20.34 to $63.03, Washington: $23.37 to $57.98.
