As the Principal Product Manager for AI Travel, you will define and execute the vision for intelligent systems that power pricing, supplier performance, and financial integrity across a global travel platform. This role sits at the core of machine learning, data infrastructure, and marketplace economics, requiring deep technical collaboration to build systems where AI drives core functionality—not just enhances it.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product strategy for pricing intelligence, supplier analytics, and financial reconciliation across flights, hotels, cars, and ancillary services.
- Design and scale reference pricing engines using predictive modeling, elasticity signals, competitive data, and real-time anomaly detection.
- Develop supplier intelligence frameworks that convert transactional data into automated insights on performance, demand trends, and pricing behavior.
- Establish a unified, trusted source for revenue, margin, take rate, transaction volume, and cancellation metrics across internal systems and external partners.
- Create evaluation and feedback systems for AI models, including monitoring for data drift, performance decay, and retraining triggers.
- Build automated reconciliation pipelines to detect financial discrepancies at scale and enable rapid resolution.
- Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Commercial, and Supply teams to ship robust, model-integrated infrastructure.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years in Product Management, with direct experience shipping AI-native products and managing model-driven systems in production.
- Proven track record building systems where artificial intelligence is central to product behavior—such as predictive pricing, anomaly detection, or automated decisioning platforms.
- Hands-on experience prototyping with foundation models or LLMs, including prompt design, evaluation frameworks, and integration into workflows.
- Deep familiarity with the full model lifecycle: problem scoping, signal engineering, metric definition (e.g., forecasting accuracy, precision/recall), monitoring, and retraining strategies.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale transactional datasets.
- Background in pricing systems, financial reporting, marketplace analytics, or reconciliation logic.
- Solid grasp of marketplace dynamics, revenue models, and pricing economics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical, financial, and business stakeholders to align complex initiatives.
Nice-to-Have
- Previous work in Data Science, Engineering, or another technical domain.
- Experience in travel tech, fintech, digital advertising, or transaction-heavy marketplaces.
