AECOM is hiring a Principal Engineer to join the Building Structures team in India. In this role, you will contribute to impactful marine infrastructure projects across our global offices and develop your technical expertise within a supportive, high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Work under only general direction, independently determining and developing your approach to solutions.
- Receive instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
- Work on your own initiative with overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.

- Knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations, and technical standards.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative, and operate in a pro-active way.
- Capable of working on your own initiative with overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
- Experience working on projects in the UK, UAE, US, Canada, or ANZ regions.
- Experience delivering projects in BIM and using relevant discipline software.
