Medtronic is looking for a Principal Sales Representative to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business. In this remote role, you will drive market share by promoting, selling, and servicing our portfolio of Pacing products within an assigned territory, requiring residence within the territory and extensive travel. What You'll Do
- Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic's CRM products and services to existing and competitive customers.
- Implement a quarterly sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of diverse Medtronic products to support sales efforts.
- Coordinate customer activities at assigned meetings.
- Complete administrative reporting, such as expense reports, account profiles, daily planners, competitive updates, and inventory logs.
- Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, market changes, distribution, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Manage time and assets cost-effectively.
- Maintain adequate trunk stock inventory and assist in product reallocation and delivery.
- Effectively utilize sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs.
- Train and educate both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business.
- Maintain a proficient level of product knowledge in all assigned product lines.
- Advise customers on a continuing basis regarding the performance of assigned products.
- Provide 24-hour territory coverage, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree.
- 10 years of medical industry sales experience selling physician preference products in a hospital environment.
- 8 years of experience selling implantable CRM products.
Nice to Have
- Local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience.
- Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating a high level of sales performance.
- 10+ years of medical sales experience in a hospital environment selling to interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, or cardiothoracic surgeons.
