Bayer Global is looking for a Primary Care Sales Consultant to join our team. You will be accountable for implementing sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product and driving launch activities for an anticipated menopause product. What You'll Do
- Build and develop professional relationships with primary care physicians, pharmacy staff, and other assigned customers.
- Drive appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular and menopause products and work with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community healthcare providers.
- Leverage expertise in the diabetes and menopause marketplace, competitors, and cross-functional activities to manage business opportunities and challenges.
- Provide relevant input to other commercial colleagues regarding strategic and tactical planning for your territory, area, and region.
- Develop and implement effective, customer-specific business plans and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
- Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
- Understand assigned customers’ product and business needs while adhering to all company ethics and compliance standards.
- Anticipate potential barriers to achieving goals and propose responsible solutions for success.
- Handle customer objections effectively, exceed expectations, and occasionally share skills with others in a training capacity.
- Leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance.
- Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and apply high ethical standards.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes in lieu of a degree.
- A proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience.
- Proven ability to develop long-standing relationships with customers.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance.
- Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, training).
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree.
- 5 years of successful pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales experience in competitive landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge in cardiovascular, diabetes, and/or menopause disease states.
- Product launch experience.
- Strong analytical and computer capabilities.
- Virtual sales experience.
- Strong local relationships with healthcare providers and an understanding of the local market.
Team & Environment
You will report to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and be an integral part of the Area Customer Squad, collaborating closely with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners.
Work Mode
This is a local-city based role located in the Phoenix East-Central, AZ metro areas.
