Bayer Global is hiring a Primary Care Sales Consultant

Shape market impact as a Primary Care Sales Consultant focused on advancing patient care through strategic promotion of an established cardiorenal therapy and a forthcoming menopause treatment. This role is central to expanding product access and clinical understanding among primary care providers across the Phoenix East-Central, AZ region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish trusted partnerships with primary care physicians, pharmacists, and clinical staff to support appropriate product use and address patient needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on payer strategies and drive adoption within local healthcare networks
  • Apply deep knowledge of diabetes, cardiovascular, and menopause treatment landscapes to identify opportunities and respond to market dynamics
  • Contribute actionable insights to commercial planning at the territory and regional levels
  • Create targeted business plans for key accounts and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
  • Optimize field time by focusing on high-potential providers and emerging clinical trends
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and deliver consistent value in every interaction
  • Stay current with digital tools and virtual engagement platforms to enhance outreach and performance
  • Uphold strict compliance with industry regulations and Bayer’s ethical standards in all activities

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or have at least 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive markets. A history of strong sales performance and relationship-building is essential. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to compliance are required. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, five or more years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, clinical expertise in cardiovascular, diabetes, or menopause conditions, product launch experience, strong data analysis skills, and familiarity with virtual selling models. Existing relationships with local healthcare providers are a significant advantage.

Compensation & Work Environment

This is a locally based field position requiring up to 50% travel within the assigned territory. Candidates must reside within the Phoenix East-Central AZ area. The salary range is $120,960 to $181,440, with potential for bonus or commission. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
