Drive sales strategy and customer engagement in North China as a Channel Sales Account Executive for a pioneering genetic analysis company. You'll be responsible for expanding market presence by guiding customers through complex technology decisions, aligning advanced genomic solutions with their research goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to researchers and institutions, applying deep technical knowledge in NGS and single-cell technologies to support informed purchasing decisions
- Develop and execute a targeted territory plan to identify new opportunities, advance sales cycles, and meet or exceed revenue targets
- Manage the full sales pipeline with precision—tracking forecasts, updating CRM data, and ensuring accurate reporting using Salesforce and other internal systems
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs in the genomics space
- Deliver compelling, application-focused product presentations that demonstrate value across diverse research applications
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the relationship
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- Proven track record in capital equipment sales within the life sciences sector
- Strong understanding of next-generation sequencing platforms and workflows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage scientific audiences at multiple levels
- Experience working cross-functionally to align technical, marketing, and support teams around customer outcomes
- Willingness to travel as required to support field-based activities
Preferred Background
- Advanced experience in Single Cell RNA Sequencing or Spatial Transcriptomics
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant life science field
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
