Position Overview
This role is responsible for advancing eye care product initiatives across a defined region including South Houston and nearby communities. The ideal candidate will engage directly with eye care professionals to support patient outcomes through science-based education and strategic relationship development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance within the assigned geography by identifying and acting on growth opportunities
- Establish trusted partnerships with eye care providers through consistent, compliant outreach
- Deliver accurate, approved clinical and product information tailored to provider needs
- Use business planning tools to assess territory potential and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to share market insights and improve service delivery
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory, legal, and company standards in all activities
- Support organizational culture by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
- Coordinate with field leadership to align local execution with broader strategic objectives
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related sales. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, disease states, and effective sales techniques is essential. Applicants must reside within or near the designated territory and possess a valid driver’s license with a clear record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and data systems is required. Fluency in English—spoken, read, and written—is mandatory. Prior experience in eye care is valued but not required. All applicants must meet access requirements for healthcare facilities in the region.
Work Environment
This is a field-based position serving areas including Bellaire, Bay City, Lake Jackson, Missouri City, Pearland, Rosenberg, Sugar Land, Victoria, and surrounding locations. Regular local travel is expected, with occasional overnight trips depending on territory demands.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 for professional level and $108,000 to $162,000 for senior level, with final offers based on experience, skills, and location.
