Role Overview
The Neuroscience Specialist plays a key role in advancing patient care by engaging healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital channels. This position focuses on sharing science-based information about neuroscience therapies, addressing provider questions, and supporting appropriate treatment pathways within approved guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain professional interactions with healthcare providers to discuss treatment options, product access, and clinical guidance.
- Utilize digital platforms and virtual tools to deliver timely, compliant information and connect providers with appropriate support resources.
- Organize and lead educational forums and speaker-led discussions to share real-world insights and clinical experiences.
- Collaborate with regional teams to refine outreach strategies based on frontline feedback and evolving market dynamics.
- Collect and share meaningful insights from provider interactions to help shape local business planning and patient support initiatives.
- Work within regulatory and compliance frameworks to ensure all communications align with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
Required
- At least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
- Four or more years of direct sales experience engaging with healthcare professionals, preferably with a portfolio of multiple products.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain complex clinical data clearly and accurately.
- Proven success in coaching or mentoring others within a commercial life sciences setting.
- Residency within 50 miles of the primary territory city to ensure local coverage.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed based on geographic demands.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance in all business activities.
Preferred
- Background in central nervous system (CNS) disorders, psychiatry, or ADHD treatment areas.
- Experience supporting the launch of a new product or new indication.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary range of $107,362 to $166,750, plus incentive potential. Additional benefits include comprehensive health coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible time off, paid leave programs, tuition reimbursement, and student loan assistance.
Work Environment
This is a locally based role serving the New Haven, Waterbury, and Danbury areas of Connecticut. The position requires field-based engagement with providers and may involve overnight travel depending on territory needs.
