Role Overview
As an Associate Territory Manager for Bone Growth Therapies, you will represent a leading medical technology company in the Cleveland, OH region, specializing in advanced bone healing devices. Your primary responsibility is to drive product adoption by building trusted relationships with physicians, hospitals, and third-party payers, ensuring both clinical understanding and reimbursement support.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance market penetration of bone growth therapy devices by meeting or exceeding sales targets across defined product lines.
- Deliver consultative support to surgeons, medical staff, and patients, ensuring proper use and compliance with treatment protocols.
- Shift engagement focus as needed toward insurance and managed care organizations to align with evolving healthcare reimbursement models.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing physician practices and payer accounts, supporting both current and upcoming product launches.
- Provide hands-on training for clinicians and patients, emphasizing safe and effective device use.
- Attend regional and national medical conferences to stay current on clinical advancements and expand professional networks.
- Submit accurate documentation for prescriptions, letters of medical necessity, and sales follow-up in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Report regularly to regional and national sales leadership, implementing strategic initiatives and performance tracking tools.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of product features, clinical data, and competitive landscape.
- Resolve customer inquiries and logistical challenges promptly, ensuring high satisfaction among clinicians and patients.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical device setting. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to present confidently to individuals and groups are essential. You must be comfortable discussing clinical and financial aspects of care with diverse stakeholders.
Regular travel within the territory—approximately 90% by car—is required. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are mandatory. The role involves routine lifting of product samples and materials, typically weighing between 20 and 30 pounds.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience engaging both physician offices and payer organizations strengthens candidacy, particularly in navigating managed care environments.
Work Environment
This is a field-based position centered in Cleveland, OH, with extensive local and regional travel. The role operates with significant autonomy while remaining aligned with national sales strategy and compliance standards.
