Drive growth in community pharmacy sales by managing a designated territory and building trusted relationships with key accounts. This role centers on advancing access to quality healthcare through strategic sales of dispensary and over-the-counter (OTC) products across Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined territory to ensure consistent, high-level service to first-line pharmacy accounts
- Exceed sales targets for both dispensary and OTC product lines through proactive customer engagement
- Develop and implement quarterly business plans tailored to individual account goals and performance outcomes
- Use business insights and analytics to refine sales strategies and improve substitution rates
- Address customer feedback and resolve concerns with initiative and professionalism
- Track and report call outcomes accurately in company systems, ensuring data integrity
- Escalate complex issues to regional leadership when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science, or Sales
- Minimum of one year’s experience in Australia’s generic pharmaceutical market
- 1–2 years in B2B sales, particularly in complex or regulated environments
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Eligible to work in Australia as a citizen or visa holder
