NECSWS is hiring a Presales Consultant to support the Revenues and Benefits, and Central Government (RBCG) Team. You will be the technical expert for NEC Revenues solutions, including Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates, leading presales activities to win new business.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Sales and BID teams to prepare tender responses, presentations, and tailored proposals.
- Conduct comprehensive software demonstrations for potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Maintain and test pre-sales databases for each software release, ensuring new functionality is incorporated.
- Configure, build, and showcase all relevant modules effectively.
- Deliver high-level overviews and in-depth demonstrations of system functionality.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external queries related to revenues and general system functionality.
- Build strong customer relationships to support sales growth and develop case studies.
- Collaborate with the product team on product roadmaps by providing market insights and client feedback.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to promote NEC solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise and extensive up-to-date knowledge in NEC Revenues (Council Tax and/or Non-Domestic Rates).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines, including occasional work outside standard hours.
- Proven ability to problem solve in demanding circumstances.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings and industry events.
Nice to Have
- IRRV Qualification.
- Experience with Integration / Interfaces with NEC R&B products.
- Knowledge of competitor products in the revenue and benefits sector.
- Previous experience in presales or consultancy roles within the public sector.
