Allegheny Health Network is looking for a Presales Solutions Engineer (PLM) to present our product offerings and solutions to prospects and customers. Your primary responsibility is to build confidence in our technology and remove technical objections throughout the sales cycle by leveraging both sales and technical skills to solicit requirements, develop strategy, and configure compelling demonstrations.

What You'll Do

Build, maintain, and present core product demonstrations.
Translate customer requirements into development language.
Understand customer needs and establish our product as the best solution.
Work cross-functionally to qualify and close new business.
Participate in product, sales, and procedural training and certification.
Respond effectively to RFPs and RFIs.
Facilitate communication between external partners and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

A BS in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with discrete manufacturing processes like Engineered to Order and Configure to Order.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
The ability to travel and create good rapport with prospects and customers.
Ability to navigate a competitive and sometimes political sales cycle.
A general understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing practices.
Knowledge of related PLM and CPQ applications and web technology.
Knowledge of interfaces and software architecture (REST API, Web Services, API).
Understanding of common business applications like ERP and CRM.
A general understanding of programming languages.

Nice to Have

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), or Product Information Management (PIM).
Experience with common manufacturing business applications (ERP, CRM, CPQ).
Experience with CAD and other technologies (SQL, C#, REST, HTML).
Experience with Business Processes like ECM, NPI, and Product Release.
