Zapier was looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Zapier is looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to partner with our Sales team in developing go-to-market strategy and closing key customer accounts. This role is a blend of technical consulting, solution development, and direct sales collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Take a consultative approach to understand customers’ technical needs and present tailored solutions using Zapier’s Enterprise Automation platform.
  • Drive revenue by positioning Zapier as integral to customers’ business strategy through value-driven proof-of-concepts, customized demos, and solution discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to develop integration architectures and long-term adoption strategies.
  • Advocate for customers and influence the product roadmap, ensuring Zapier’s platform evolves to meet enterprise customer needs.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in technical pre-sales at B2B SaaS companies or customer-facing technical consulting roles involving business-and-technology-line relationship management.
  • Familiarity with core computing concepts and experience implementing technical projects.
  • Consultative approach to understanding customer needs and providing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with both business and technical teams.
  • Thrive in dynamic, evolving environments with hands-on problem-solving.
  • Fast-moving technical innovator who enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring.
  • Work seamlessly across teams, partnering with Growth, Engineering, and Product.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to craft technical plans.
  • Self-motivated and thrive in environments with ambiguity.
  • AI fluency or willingness to learn fast and use AI tools regularly.

Nice to Have

  • Proven success in closing six-figure software deals and developing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Team & Environment

This role acts as the primary conduit between go-to-market and Engineering.

Work Mode

This role is open to candidates in the Americas region.
