General Electric Company is looking for a Pole Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will learn and perform essential maintenance and inspection of wood utility poles that carry power and other utility lines, ensuring system reliability and safety.
What You'll Do
- Complete routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles
- Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas
- Commitment to a minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays as inclement weather make-up days
- Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures
- Upon offer, completion and passing of a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required
Nice to Have
- Mechanically inclined with experience using a variety of tools
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver License
