Mass General Brigham is hiring a Physical Therapist to join The McLean Hospital Corporation. As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional care in an acute care setting, evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic and medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with other disciplines to optimize patient mobility and function and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care in support of patient care, research, teaching, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient assessment and establish a plan of care.
- Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
- Discuss evaluation, goals, and treatment with patient and family.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
- Participate in and contribute to department and interdisciplinary in-service education programs.
- Participate in Hospital-wide quality process improvement.
- Supervise PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
- Complete billing accurately.
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Valid state Physical Therapist License.
Nice to Have
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License.
- 1-2 years of experience completing an internship or apprenticeship program.
