CVS Health is hiring a Performance Environmental Engineer to join our NextGen Production Support Environment team. In this role, you will focus on Non-Production Support for our critical Claims and Enrollment systems, collaborating with business, QA, release delivery, infrastructure, and vendor partners to maintain system stability and code releases. What You'll Do
- Monitor system upgrades.
- Analyze defect reports across Non-Production Environments.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed on a rotating basis.
- Participate in infrastructure, maintenance, and application release check-outs.
- Maintain system support documentation.
- Follow established methodologies, standards, and guidelines.
- Contribute to event, incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with applications teams to monitor systems and processes, ensuring availability and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive environment and build successful relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience supporting multi-tier applications.
- 3+ years experience with or exposure to batch processing, monitoring technologies, and trend analysis.
- Knowledge or experience with AppDynamics (i.e., transaction analysis, dashboarding, and alerting).
- Knowledge or experience with Splunk (i.e., data analytics, dashboarding, reporting, and alerting).
- Knowledge or experience with relational databases and DML for SQL queries and Linux shell commands.
- Knowledge or experience with event and incident management across multiple teams.
- Knowledge or experience working in or leading dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams through issue resolution.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle Weblogic, Apache Karaf, and IIS.
