DeepL is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People Operations Service & Support team. You will be responsible for global HR operations, enhancing the employee experience, and driving efficiency across our people processes.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for global employees on inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, mobility, and PTO.
- Manage core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee and optimize our HR Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
- Support payroll experts with payroll preparation and related reporting tasks.
- Manage cross-functional projects within the People & Culture department and with external teams like Finance and Legal.
- Ensure HR processes and policies comply with local and international regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the people operations function.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align and communicate HR initiatives effectively.
What We're Looking For
- Very good knowledge of HR practices, policies, and regulations in an international tech environment.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR technology tools.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English.
