Cresta is hiring a People Operations Partner to grow, support, and optimize the infrastructure behind our employee experience. As we continue in hyper-growth mode, you'll be responsible for building scalable systems, automation, and data intelligence to support this next wave of our growth.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve our People & Recruiting systems ecosystem to ensure scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Execute employee life cycle events including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, documentation, and data changes across HR systems.
- Help refine and document standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for HRIS architecture, integrations, workflows, and automation, with minimal supervision.
- With guidance from the People leadership team, own system enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and release management with precision.
- Drive implementation of new People technology, including requirements gathering, vendor partnership, UAT, rollout, and adoption measurement.
- Design and optimize workflow management tools to improve service delivery speed, transparency, and employee self-service.
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable leaders to make data-driven talent decisions.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and audit readiness across all People systems.
- Work closely with the Payroll team to provide timely payroll inputs US & International locations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and Talent Acquisition on integrations and shared systems initiatives.
- Identify manual or fragmented processes and proactively design automated, scalable solutions.
- Document governance models, system architecture decisions, and operating procedures to reduce single-threaded ownership risk.
- Support global compliance and data privacy standards across Canada, the US, Europe, and other emerging regions.
- Work with Global Mobility process owners to support the mobility request from current employees and future hires across multiple geographies.
- Administer employee documents and operations on connected HR systems (such as EOR providers).
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or People Systems roles.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments.
- Hands-on expertise in HRIS platforms (HiBob, Workday, or similar), including configuration and integrations.
- Strong understanding of workflow automation, system architecture, and data governance.
- Experience leading or owning technology implementations end-to-end.
- Strong analytical capability; comfortable building dashboards and translating data into insight.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment standards.
- Highly organized with strong documentation discipline.
- Thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and takes ownership without waiting for direction.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to US and/or EMEA compliance is highly desirable.
- You’ve experienced company growth from approximately 500 to 1,500+ employees, and understand what operationally breaks at scale.
- You’ve been part of a team that has re-architected, or significantly upgraded HR systems, not just maintained them.
- You’ve operated across multiple geographies (North America, Europe, and ideally Asia), navigating global compliance and data privacy complexities.
- You’ve built frameworks that reduced manual work and improved system reliability.
- You’ve supported global expansions, major workforce transformations.
- You think long-term — designing systems that balance employee experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.
