Lead the evolution of internal technology for a fast-growing, profitable SaaS organization. As VP of Information Technology, you’ll define and execute the internal IT roadmap, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and frictionless for employees across a hybrid workforce.
What You’ll Own
- Direct the full lifecycle of internal IT strategy, with a focus on Mac-based environments, SaaS operations, device management, and identity systems
- Design and maintain security frameworks that are both robust and invisible to users—ensuring protection without disruption
- Automate core processes including provisioning, patching, compliance checks, and help desk resolution to reduce manual effort and errors
- Run and refine help desk operations to proactively support productivity and minimize downtime
- Manage key platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Greenhouse, and Help Scout
- Ensure continuous compliance through smart access controls and lightweight policy structures that support audits
- Partner with Engineering to share scripts, align infrastructure planning, and strengthen cross-team collaboration
- Deliver measurable improvements within your first 90 days by identifying high-leverage opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience operating and automating in Apple-centric environments
- Hands-on background with MDM solutions, including building deployment packages and custom scripting
- Strong knowledge of IT security: access logging, SSO/LDAP integration, and policy design
- Proven success building reliable, zero-downtime onboarding and offboarding systems
- A mindset rooted in automation—any repeatable task should have a script
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contribute code when needed, and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
- Respect for existing systems and the decisions behind them, while identifying paths to improve
- A focus on early impact—finding and delivering quick wins that build credibility
- Builder mentality: you design systems that grow stronger with scale

This role operates in a hybrid model with primary locations in Downtown Austin, TX and Old Town Scottsdale, AZ. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates. Leadership is trusted to determine where they perform best.
