Allegheny Health Network is hiring a part-time Patient Host or Hostess / SEIU - D. In this role, you will assist patients with the menu selection process to ensure they receive appropriate nutrition. You will be responsible for food handling, tray assembly, and delivery.
What You'll Do
- Interact with patients to collect food selections, edit and enter choices into the computer system, and verify proper dietetic physician orders.
- Utilize proper food handling and storage techniques when assembling patient trays and when receiving, rotating, and storing food.
- Deliver and retrieve food carts, ensuring patient trays are delivered according to the tray delivery schedule.
- Maintain and assemble floor stock.
Nice to Have
- 1 year of food and nutrition experience.
