About the Role

Harris Consulting Philippines (HCP) is hiring a Tax Administrator to support our tax operations and ensure seamless client service. In this role, you will manage processes from client intake to final e-filing, working closely with the tax operations manager. This is a full-time, remote position based in the Philippines, with occasional in-person training in Makati and some flexibility required for U.S. business hours.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the tax operations manager to ensure daily tasks are completed and serve as overflow support for tax admins at other offices.
  • Assist with the client intake process, including scanning, organizing folders, and uploading documents to SurePrep.
  • Batch send out entity and individual engagement letters through SafeSend in November and individual organizers in December.
  • Assemble tax returns for the Meridian office and help with overflow from other offices.
  • Communicate deadlines with clients to ensure timely signature collection.
  • E-file and extend returns, monitor for rejections, update task due dates, and complete tasks upon acceptance.
  • Review client document shelves and ensure documents are returned to clients.
  • Prepare mailings as needed and generate reports for statutory due dates.
  • Roll forward returns as needed for extension or upload to SurePrep.
  • Help maintain the tax admin email box to ensure it is cleared daily.
  • Communicate with clients and serve as a resource for their questions, particularly regarding SafeSend.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of experience in administrative support roles or office management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • A high level of aptitude in all Microsoft Office products.
  • A high level of comfort with technology and software applications.

Nice to Have

  • Some tax or accounting knowledge.
