HERA Organics is hiring a Mortgage Processor III to leverage strong analytical skills in assessing conventional and government loan requests. As a seasoned processor, you will act as the key communication liaison between customers and the Mortgage department.
What You'll Do
- Maintain effective, professional communication with customers, brokers, co-workers, and external partners throughout the loan application process.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to obtain all necessary processing documentation.
- Immediately notify all relevant parties of any irregularities relative to standard mortgage guidelines.
- Monitor, update, and analyze credit reports, appraisals, income documentation, and verifications for compliance.
- Perform administrative duties including preparing commitment letters, reviewing title and insurance, mailing notices, and providing closing documentation.
- Scrutinize loan applications to assess qualification, restructure loans, or recommend solutions.
- Review and accept loan conditions based on underwriter requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Use a strong analytical and mathematical background to evaluate changes to borrower fee structures and re-create required regulatory documents.
What We're Looking For
- An Associates Degree or two years of equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience.
Nice to Have
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, an Email Platform, and Adobe.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information.
- Knowledge of Product, Investor, and Compliance Requirements.
- Versatility and flexibility working within an ever-changing, fast-paced mortgage environment.
- Adaptability to new policies and procedures to improve processes and workflow.

Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay: $18.57 - $30.95 (USD)
