Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Patient Host or Hostess to play a key role in patient care by managing the menu selection process. You'll ensure patients receive appropriate nutrition by accurately capturing their needs and delivering meals efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Interact with patients to collect and edit food selections, entering choices into the computer system.
- Verify all selections against proper dietetic physician orders.
- Utilize correct food handling and storage techniques when assembling patient trays.
- Receive, rotate, and store food supplies safely.
- Deliver and retrieve food carts, ensuring patient trays are delivered on schedule.
- Maintain and assemble floor stock supplies.

- 1 year of food and nutrition experience.
