Pennsylvania State University is hiring a Part-Time Food Service Cashier for Penn State Harrisburg Food Services during the 2024-2025 Academic Year. This is a non-student position focused on providing excellent customer service and handling transactions.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers.
- Provide guidance and responses to customer inquiries; redirect or escalate when necessary.
- Respond to complaints or issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of University policies, procedures, and practices to answer routine inquiries.
- Operate equipment and computer systems, including point of sale (POS) systems.
- Receive payments and issue receipts, refunds, or change.
- Assist in promoting products and services to internal and external customers.
- Report equipment malfunctions and repair needs.
