UBC is looking for a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to work onsite in Calgary. You’ll be the face of U-Haul, working with a supportive team to assist customers, manage rentals, and maintain equipment. This role is hands-on and involves a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center.
- Manage rentals and inventory using smartphone-based U-Scan technology.
- Move, hook up, clean, and inspect trucks and trailers, checking fluid levels.
- Answer customer questions and educate them on products and services.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring.
- Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
- Operate a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
- Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A valid driver’s license (class 5 GDL or greater) and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Stack
- Smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals.
