Family Health International (FHI 360) is hiring a Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer

About the Role

This position leads the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to assess program effectiveness and support evidence-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
  • Design data collection tools and methodologies
  • Oversee data quality assurance processes
  • Manage routine data reporting and analysis
  • Support performance tracking against project indicators
  • Coordinate evaluation activities including baseline, midline, and endline studies
  • Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements
  • Train project staff on M&E systems and data use
  • Strengthen data management systems and databases
  • Produce learning briefs and knowledge products
  • Integrate gender and equity considerations into M&E processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align M&E with program goals
  • Monitor data for trends and program adjustments
  • Facilitate reflection sessions with teams using data
  • Support research protocols and ethical standards
  • Manage relationships with external evaluators
  • Document lessons learned and best practices
  • Ensure alignment with national health information systems
  • Maintain data confidentiality and security
  • Contribute to proposal development with M&E components
  • Use data visualization tools to present findings
  • Support adaptive management through timely data feedback
  • Lead MEAL capacity building for partners
  • Ensure timely submission of progress reports
  • Promote a culture of learning across project teams

Compensation

Full-time with potential for remote work and frequent travel to project locations
