About the Role
This position leads the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to assess program effectiveness and support evidence-based decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Design data collection tools and methodologies
- Oversee data quality assurance processes
- Manage routine data reporting and analysis
- Support performance tracking against project indicators
- Coordinate evaluation activities including baseline, midline, and endline studies
- Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements
- Train project staff on M&E systems and data use
- Strengthen data management systems and databases
- Produce learning briefs and knowledge products
- Integrate gender and equity considerations into M&E processes
- Collaborate with technical teams to align M&E with program goals
- Monitor data for trends and program adjustments
- Facilitate reflection sessions with teams using data
- Support research protocols and ethical standards
- Manage relationships with external evaluators
- Document lessons learned and best practices
- Ensure alignment with national health information systems
- Maintain data confidentiality and security
- Contribute to proposal development with M&E components
- Use data visualization tools to present findings
- Support adaptive management through timely data feedback
- Lead MEAL capacity building for partners
- Ensure timely submission of progress reports
- Promote a culture of learning across project teams
