Penn State is seeking a Part-Time ABS IT Support professional to join the Auxiliary & Business Services team. This wage payroll position supports the daily IT needs of a diverse customer base through hands-on software and hardware support. You'll contribute to a progressive, team-focused environment dedicated to operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Package, install, and support numerous software applications.
- Configure and rollout large bulk purchases of workstations.
- Perform helpdesk activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in diagnosing and analyzing IT problems and developing solutions.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend new hardware and software products.
What We're Looking For
- A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
Nice to Have
- A basic understanding of IT related components.
- Demonstrated knowledge of networking.
